About Better 4 You Meals (B4YM)

A Commerce, California-based food vendor, Better 4 You Meals (B4YM) is committed to providing nutritious breakfasts, lunches, suppers, and snacks to students in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. A group of administrative leaders from some of the state’s top charter schools and charter management organizations gathered to form the company in 2011. Under their direction, Better 4 You Meals quickly rose to prominence, serving more than 18,000 charter school breakfasts each morning to become one of the largest breakfast providers in California.

Currently serving approximately 70,000 meals per day, the company furthers its business by encouraging clients to take advantage of resources such as the USDA National School Lunch Program, which enables schools to receive an average of $0.15 in credits per lunch each day. B4YM also draws on the resources of the California Charter Schools Association and recently sponsored the third annual Leaders of Change event of the Alliance of College-Ready Public Schools.
